June 2011:
NBCCC received the fountain funds from the Dartmouth Mall in June 2011. All of the proceeds will go directly to the Foster Children and Teen Enrichment Fund.

May 2011:
In May, NBCCC participated in the Not Your Average Cause program at Not Your Average Joe's, Dartmouth location.
All of the proceeds from this event will go directly to the Foster Children and Teen Enrichment Fund.

Your contribution is being used to provide foster children with opportunities to grow, learn and thrive though enrichment activities such as performing arts classes, sports programs and much more.
December 2010:
New Bedford Community Connections Coalition and the Family Resource and Development Center has been chosen by Payless ShoeSource to be part of this year's Payless GivesTM Shoes 4 Kids program!
We're one of the many nonprofit groups chosen to receive coupons to give to children in need. Children we serve in our community will be able to redeem these coupons at Payless for a free new pair of shoes.
November 2010:
In celebration of National Family Week, the Family Resource and Development Center hosted an Open House on Tuesday, November 23rd.
Over 40 families and professionals were in attendance to meet the new family support staff at the center.
October 2010
In October, NBCCC participated in the Macy's Shop for a Cause event on Saturday, October 16th.
All of the proceeds from this event will go directly to the Foster Children and Teen Enrichment Fund.
September 2010:

The Family Resource and Development Center is proud to offer a 12-week Group on the "Importance of being a Dad"
This group is on Wednesdays from 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm at the Family Resource and Development Center located on 105 William Street, 3rd Floor.
May 2010:
On Monday, May 10th, 2010 the Honorable Mayor Scott W. Lang proclaimed May as Foster Care Month.
The Proclamation Ceremony saluted the compassion of people who make a difference to the lives of foster children and also addressed the need for foster homes.

February 2010:
The New Bedford Community Connections Coalition's Task Force for Foster Care Support had its 8th Annual "Take This Child to Heart" Fundraiser on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at the Century House in Acushnet, MA.
All proceeds raised from this event will go to the Foster Children and Teen Enrichment Fund.
